Q. What type of music do you have?
A. We can go all the way back to the music of the Big Band Era of the 30's & 40's, continue through the decades of the 50's, 60's 70's etc. right up to what is hot on the charts right now.
Q. Do you provide lights and/or any special effects?
A. Yes. Depending on the event, we have the standard par can colored lights plus a variety of effects that we can use including fog, exciter lights, "fire", bubbles, snow, small lasers, "disco ball effect" & spot lights. All of these special effects are not used on every job. Sometimes none are used. It depends on the type of event, size of venue and, of course, what is appropriate.
Q. Will you travel & how far?
A. We'll go about anywhere, any distance. Cost of travel expenses would be a factor (transportation, accommodations, food, etc.) that would be figured into the fees for that particular job.
Q. How much do you charge?
A. Call for price quotes. Factors, besides travel distance, that influence price include day of the week, time needed to do the job, equipment needed and/or requested etc.
Q. Will the DJ do announcements/introductions (eg. host the bouquet toss, intro the wedding party,) at receptions, anniversaries, or any event that requires such service?
A. Absolutely. We can also provide a wireless mic for toasts or any announcements that specified guests can use.
Q. Am I charged for set up/break down time?
A. No. Our paid time starts when you require your host to start with music or announcements or to run sound for you.
Q. Will you do special song requests?
A. Of course as long as we know in time to be able to have your request on hand. We also reserve the right to NOT PLAY requests that are not in the best interest of the guests present at the event. Hopefully, you and your guests would use common sense when asking for music that wouldn't be appropriate for the other guests that are present. Sometimes these requests can be played later in the evening. Usually questionable requests are "cleared" by the client before we play them. We appreciate your support in these cases.
